Senior Care – Issues/Needs/Trends and Technology Solutions

Loading Events

Digital Health @ RTP’s key objective is to bring business/domain experts and technology solution providers together to facilitate discussions so that the entrepreneurship is nurtured to carve out technology solutions for a wide variety of needs across the healthcare spectrum. Senior care is one such area of healthcare that has significant growth and tremendous opportunities for technology solutions.

As the Baby Boomer population ages, society is on the cusp of dealing with an unprecedented number of senior citizens who will need elder care. An intensifying shortage of US home health aides and physicians, a booming senior population, and the prevalence of chronic illnesses all point to a need for transformative solutions when it comes to senior care services. This problem is serious but increasing digitization and analytics in the healthcare industry can help bring down costs, improve care quality, and create a more sustainable business model for senior care.

We are excited to announce a meetup session to discuss the issues, needs, trends in senior care market, and a myriad of digital solutions such as Telemedicine, IoT, Wearables, Smart Assistants, Artificial Intelligence, Robotics and Data Analytics that are shaping up to address those needs.

If you are an entrepreneur or a technology professional, looking to develop a business or technology solutions, or just want to learn more about this space, attend this event.
