The Duke Law Tech Lab, a remote, light-touch accelerator, provides support for early-stage legal tech companies with a mission to increase access to legal services.
The program involves one-hour weekly virtual conferences with leading legal technology entrepreneurs, innovative law firms, industry consultants, court administrators, CTOs, angel investors and VCs committed to investing in early-stage tech products. Duke Law Tech Lab brings in thought-leaders from the legal profession and coaching experts to hone your pitch and enrich your understanding of the legal services ecosystem. The program also provides microgrants, AWS Activate credits, and the opportunity to compete for prize money at the virtual Demo Day.
As in the past, the Duke Law Tech Lab will not require equity from any company associated with the program and its opportunities. The Duke Law Tech Lab has found that the teams with the greatest self-awareness of their strengths and growing edges and who are willing to take advantage of what the program has to offer have been the most successful, during and after the program.
